Fitness app

The goal of the school project was to develop a service that helps users who do strength training to track and analyze their progress. Using the Design Thinking process, the solution became a mobile app where users can log their workouts and view their progress through stats and personal records.

Design process

A survey was sent out to identify the target audience and understand user needs. Two user interviews were conducted to gather more specific insights. Based on the results, an Empathy Map was created, which served as the foundation for the persona and scenarios.

I used Affinity Mapping to brainstorm ideas and features based on the scenarios. User flows were then developed to design the user journey.

The prototype was tested early to identify any usability issues. The app's UI was designed based on a poll, where 70% of users preferred workout apps in dark mode.
